What is NLP?
NLP was created by observing and modelling people who were exceptionally talented within the field of therapy. NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. "Neuro" relates to the brain and "linguistic" refers to the language used, and how it is used. "Programming" describes the patterns and habits you create, learn and persistently follow.
As we experience the world through our senses, the information is translated into thoughts. The thoughts affect our physiology (our body), emotions and behaviour these thoughts can be heightened or dampened depending on how you then use language within your own mind. If you do the same process of thinking repeatedly, you create habits- some good, some bad- dependant on the type of thoughts you have. By encouraging the use of more than one perspective, and using effective communication tools, you can learn why you do the things that you do, and what you must change to get better or different results.
Therefore, NLP is the use of effective techniques and strategies to create changes in our thinking and communication. NLP gives us an understanding of how we experience life and what meanings we then apply to those experiences. When we unravel the information about what we think, and how we are thinking it, we can then use NLP strategies and techniques to create changes and achieve better behaviour and results.
More and more people are realising the value of NLP in enabling them to become more effective in their chosen field. In fact, NLP techniques and models are now being used in a diverse range of areas including education, business and human resources, sport, personal development and health.

What is Coaching?
Coaching enables you to assess yourself, your situation or problem and to develop the skills you already have to tackle the situation or problem by increasing your motivation and willingness to do so.
By setting clear and realistic goals I will work with you on a regular basis to aid and motivate achievement. It is a must for people who have to be self motivated- such as those who run a team or those who run their own business. By leaning techniques to help you deal with stress and increase productivity you will be able to achieve more from your day. It is especially useful for ensuring that peak ability and standard is obtained and maintained for an important performance or event.
My coaching techniques are used in conjunction with the therapies I offer, so that as well as realising your challenges, I will help you to overcome them.
EFT
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) can probably be best compared with acupuncture for its relation to the philosophy that there are energy points located in the body. These energy points, can have a massive impact on ailments or imbalances and ones own psychology by using EFT. It works on the basis that the imbalances can be rectified by using a tapping technique in the appropriate energy points.
EFT has a very good success rate and the changes that occur are usually very quick as well as dramatic.
